A developer has applied to demolish Six Points Plaza, and replace it with towers.
What will happen to the 20 shops and services in the Plaza right now??
Don’t local residents (both old and new) deserve great local small businesses and services??
Our Committee represents neighbours, customers, and clients of the Six Points businesses.
We call on Liberty Developments (owner of this site) to
— give existing Six Points merchants the right to space in the new development, at rents similar to current rates
— preserve or recreate 20 commercial units suitable for small, independent shops and services, including a medical clinic like the current MCI Six Points Walk-in Clinic
We call on the City of Toronto to allow redevelopment of Six Points only if spaces for our shops and services are preserved!
Do you agree?? Please sign below! This will become an official petition presented to City Council, so please include your street address. Please also include your email address so that we can keep you up to date. (Your information will NOT be displayed publicly)
Thank you!!
